I am sorry to have to tell you all this, because I know many of you wanted me to have puppies this month, but all the Easter Bunny is going to bring this year is Jelly Beans.

I went to see Dr. Michelle today and she took a picture of the inside of my belly. It really looked weird, but there are no puppies inside me. She gave Daddy Chuck the name of a doctor who specializes in getting “reluctant” lady dogs to have puppies. She recommended to Daddy Chuck that he should take me there next time. I will try again to deliver some DoxieKinder for my friends, but not this time!

I am all a twitter and bewildered. This adventure is getting curiouser and curiouser by the day. My human Mommy, Linda ( Garlin Kennels ) wrote Daddy Chuck an email hoping that Dr. Michele finds babies in me on Thursday morning. I don’t know nuttin bout birthin no babies! All I know is that I am always hungry these days and want to be on one of my Daddy’s laps all the time. As I say….curiouser and curiouser. All Kate does is lay there and laugh at me! I can not imagine why!

A lot of people have been asking Daddy Chuck about whether I am pregnant or not. I know, but won’t tell even HIM. He called Dr. Michele today and asked how soon she could reveal my secret with tests. They agreed that March 11 at 9:30 in the morning is the first time that they can both get together to examine me. These hoomans are so silly. They could just wait until March 30 and see if puppies pop out. I don’t understand all this hubbub and falderaugh! Patience is a virtue, possess it if you can. Seldom in a dachshund, NEVER in a hooman!

WOW. How super it is to hear from you! Glad u have found us and can keep up with your fur family by blog. Your post ALMOST makes up for the indignation which we suffered at the hands of Daddy Danny and Daddy Chuck yesterday. We haven’t spoken to either of them since. They put each of us on the picnic table, one at a time and then trimmed our hair and nails. They even used that buzz buzz thingy. We are BALD! Then to make matters worse, they took us to the porcelain dungeon and put us in the blue pond and covered us with soap and showered us all. What ha HORRIBLE way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We would much rather have had you visit us and roll with us in the leaves under the rubber tree.

Oh well, it is over now and almost time to eat supper. I sure am glad to hear from Kate and my daughter.

Hey Daddy Chuck! Been a LONG Time since we have chilled and watched TV on the couch. My step-daddy (Eric) just found your site and is super excited about staying in touch with you! Hope all is going well and Tell my wiener Mommy & Daddy I said Hello and I Love and Miss Them! Going back to being a Couch Potato now.

I can’t exactly put my paw on it, but things are different, somehow. My body is changing and I am feeling so affectionate lately. It ias been 3 weeks since that rascal Kinnon made me YELP over in the dark corner of the yard. Daddy Chuck was giving me my customary tummy rub yesterday and he looked at me and said that my nipples were getting larger and my stomach was getting firmer.

Does anybody know what could cause that? And it gets worse. You all know now independent I have always been. I NEVER expressed affection for my hooman slaves. NOW I can not get enough of them. Every time daddy Chuck sits in his recliner, I want to be right there, stretched out on his leg. It feels so good.

I don’t know! I really wanted JELLY BEANS! Could there be puppies? Daddy Chuck keeps asking if there are buns in the oven. Whatever DOES he mean?

Well, friends, the “dance” is over. Kristof is back home. All the laundry associated with a female in “season” has been washed, dried and put away. Peace and tranquility has once again settled on the clan DoxiePet. I don’t think that the clan is going to expand in number this year. Kira and Kinnon never did knot, at least not when and where Daddy Chuck or Daddy Danny could see. They played around, but whenever it was time to get serious, Kira just sat down. Daddy Danny tried to hold her head and Daddy Chuck tried to hold her bottom up, but no success. There were 2 times that we could hear Kira yelping as if a penetration was being made. They happened late in the evening and came from the darkest corners of the estate grounds, so nobody is sure if they tied the knot or not. I guess time will tell. We will keep you informed!

It has been a wonderful vacation, but this afternoon I will be going home to the rest of my fur family and Daddies Chuck and Danny. Kassie’s hooman mommy took this picture of the 2 of us. I had sucha a great time! Daddy Danny is going to come to pick me up after he gets off work this afternoon. It has been such fun visiting Princess Kassie, but all good times seem to have to come to an end. Daddy Danny will be coming in his car, I think. I will be good and ride nicely for him, but I am sue I will have enough stories to last all the way home and he won’t have to turn on his radio. I wonder what my fur family has been doing while I was away…I hope they saved me some C H I C K E N!

Well, the DoxiePets slave reporting today. This is day 12 of Kira’s cycle. Late evening on day 9 the happy couple was out in the back garden dancing in the dark. Squeals could be heard inside the house and it is possible that there was a tie. On day 10, the couple showed little interest in each other and Kira’s flow started looking like it was going clear. On Day 11, they were dancing again, but I saw no sign of a tie. At 2 AM on day 12, Kira was demanding to be put together with Kinnon. They danced around for over an hour and, again retreated to the darkest corner of the yard. Again there was yelping and the couple came back in the house. Kinnon was so exhausted he slept stretched out on the floor. I plan to let them rest today and put them together again tomorrow. We will see what we will see. It is possible that the Easter Bunny will be delivering puppies here this year. I honestly don’t know. I would love to see a tie or 2!

I will need to look at this site more to figure everything out, but just wanted Chuck and clan to know I found you:)) I’m glad to hear that Kinnon is finally doing the ‘dance’ with Kira, their pups will be gorgeous:)) Bobbi
